Hobby streak day 173 Three new Boyz. I've built my first home wet pallette, and I've been playing around with that on these Boyz. Starting to get the hang of it, I now see what all the fuzz is about. I also corrected the warts technique, I had started to be really lax there. It looks better now, more dots, tinier, and clumped together.

Hobby streak day 164 It was a productive week!  Finished the grot kit and put together the second boyz kit. Really tried to give em some unique poses. Sniping and green stuffing the holes, will see how they look once primed, but I loved the possibilities green stuff offers. I can see that becoming a staple in the future.  Gotta start 🤔 about the next project, maybe the chaos start collecting, though with so many new ork teases, I might be better off waiting for a bit.

Hobby streak day 157 4 more grots done over the weekend. Really happy with them. Decided against trying highlights with the yellowest green, using that instead for pimples and warts. I like it better this way. The skin is smoother, and everything is more uniform.

Hobby streak day 154.  They're here!  Today I continued work on a grot before receiving these green boys.  These will be the second time I put together this kit. Really excited to try some new poses!

Sorry...

Hobby streak day 153. Well, I just keep breaking my own rules, don't I? This is what I've been doing. Just some grots. I like em ok, I guess. Not super excited, though they are starting to look better when in a little mob. Using the same process as the boys.  I'll try to post more often, I promise.

Hobby streak day 133. I've been hobbying, I promise.  These Wyloch inspired (copied) rocks were a nightmare and made feel really frustrated lately. Poliurethane is a horrid material, just a pain to paint and dropping little balls everywhere.  But they're done, and that's what matters.  Tomorrow, I have no idea.
