Three Gorgons

Hobby streak day 95. Boy #9 is done! I punched up the highlights and added some shiny to the edges of the metallic surfaces. Feeling much happier about him than I did yesterday. I'm aware that  they kind of blend together once once they're all balled up on the table, but I'll know.  I'll know.  Got started on the big shoota boy. Just thin layers of color to begin. A happy accident gave him a Jem and the Holograms kind of topknot, which I love. Gotta pink that up now.  I didn't time anything I did, so I still don't know just how slow I paint.  Big mistery.

  Hobby streak day 94.  Added the three green color layers, the yellow glaze, the lips and the metallics. drybrushed a little soil onto the pants. Painted the rim,  mounted the fig and took a really bad picture. Tomorrow I'll see it with fresh eyes and add more highlights before calling him (her? it?) done. Three days working on one boy. That can't be right.  Next time I'll time the whole thing. 

  Hobby streak day 93.  Started on Boy #9. Light base coats, shades and the underskin (?) dots (blue, orange and white). And the base is almost done! Maybe a little more color on the sand.  Plus I decluttered my desk a little bit! All that space 👾 I'm sure it'll last.

  Done with Boy #8, front and center, choppa and slugga. Three more to go.  Hobby streak day 92
