Hobby streak day 97

I actually started with this guy yesterday, just the basic three colors, green, black and brown.

This was the first ork I put together, and I hate how the arms and head turned out. Live and learn.

I spent about 4 hours on him today, but I'm not that happy with the end result. Fresh eyes might help.

Tomorrow he joins his buddies, and I'm done with the boys part of the start collecting box. Nobs next.

 Hobby streak day 157 4 more grots done over the weekend. Really happy with them. Decided against trying highlights with the yellowest green, using that instead for pimples and warts. I like it better this way. The skin is smoother, and everything is more uniform.

 Hobby streak day 128 Incredibly, Start Collecting Orks is done! What a treat this was. I guess I'm an ork player in the end. Tomorrow will be something different, at least until the second Start Collecting arrives 🤣

  Hobby streak day 103. Midwinter minis' Orky neighborhood is done! This was a pleasure to build. One of those simple, effective things to build where you see progress consistently and as a result, feel encouraged every step of the way. I know I'll eventually go back to it and build some more.  Tomorrow, back to orks!
